Microimplant Therapy

Orthodontic therapy depends on a combination of pulling and pushing forces to move teeth into their proper positions. In some cases, it is difficult to achieve the appropriate forces needed to move the teeth. Microimplants are small titanium screws that can be inserted into the gums during orthodontic treatment to help provide the necessary support to move teeth when they cannot be moved by traditional orthodontic therapy. Microimplants can be easily placed and removed with no discomfort to the patient.
